Sherardian Library of Plant Taxonomy: Move to LaMB and closed period

The Sherardian Library of Plant Taxonomy will be moving with the Department of Biology into the new Life & Mind Building (LaMB) in summer 2025. Ahead of the move, staff will be working to prepare the collections ready for the transfer to their new space. Reading room spaces and much of the collections will be unavailable during this time.

The collections will be closed to readers and research requests from 1 May 2025 until after the move.

If we are able to accommodate small requests we will try, but unfortunately this cannot be guaranteed.
